I live in the Southwest of Western Australia. I’m surrounded by a landscape of rolling hills, gentle brooks and beautiful rivers. Much of this area is forested with wildflowers carpeting the floor in spring. I am particularly drawn to the small things in nature, not necessarily the pretty or beautiful, perhaps just the way that the light falls on a leaf or a collection of pebbles sprinkled with mica dust caught in a shaft of sunlight. I explore the images that I find in many different mediums. I write, draw, paint, sculpt, photograph, and also use my computer to try and recreate a half remembered experience. My house and garden are filled with odd collections of; feathers, pebbles, rocks, leaves, shells, bones, nests, twigs and bits of wood.
